Looks kind of like Hawaii at Buck Creek, like Alaska around Shipman Creek with the rocky beach, and Africa at Big Flat with the horizontally-oriented tree. Should have filmed The Lost World here. Hiked up eighty switchbacks on Rattlesnake Ridge to Bear Hollow Spring (pipe pouring water from ground in 2003 Honeydew Fire scar). Also went up Buck Creek trail (old rd.). Also stayed at Tolkan Campground. Don't miss visitor center/ office's 3D map. Poison oak on beach! Walk at low tide or get stuck. Going up rock slides risky plus poison oak thickets!
